The City of Toledo and the University of Toledo, in partnership with the Human Relations Commission, are proud to announce this year's Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration centered on the theme "Building Bridges and Breaking Bread."
The cornerstone of this year’s celebration is a video featuring six community members reflecting on Dr. King’s core principles: nonviolence, justice, love, faith, courage, forgiveness, hope, and service. The video also includes remarks from Councilmember Brittany Jones, UT Interim President Schroeder, and Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz.
